Harmonix is known as an innovator in the downloadable content field. They have released more DLC than any other console game for their Rock Band series, and they are bringing that to their 2009 smash hit, The Beatles: Rock Band.
In September, Harmonix released the game, and to kick off the DLC for the game, Harmonix released one of the most notable exceptions from The Beatles: Rock Band, “All You Need is Love” as a single. This was not just a normal single track released as DLC, as all proceeds went to benefit the Doctors without Borders charity. In total, the sales of the single raised tens of thousands of dollars for the charity.

When October rolled in, Harmonix began releasing full albums, or rather remaining tracks from albums. The first album that was released for The Beatles: Rock Band was the remainder of the classic album, Abbey Road. As a bonus for those that bought the full pack, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 users have the chance to play a medley of Abbey Road tracks.

With the month of November, The Beatles: Rock Band allows players to add the remainder of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club band. The album was actually ranked as the number one album of all-time by Rolling Stone magazine.

It’s not official on whether or not Harmonix will continue to support The Beatles: Rock Band with DLC, but there have been rumors that the entire Beatles discography will be out eventually, though Harmonix has insisted that no plans are in place yet.

The Beatles Box Set is an incredible value and it's available in Stereo & Mono formats. If you enjoy the Beatles Rock Band video game, there's no doubt that you should get CD set! The set includes all 13 studio albums remastered. It sounds amazing. It also comes with a DVD of mini-documentaries.
The the price of the Mono set is a little more, but this limited edition is a perfect reproduction of the magic The Beatles originally created decades ago.
